This article is part of the series: UCL Fantasy Matchday 1: Tips, Best Picks & Captain
Best Real Madrid players for UCL Fantasy 2023/24
Kepa (5.0m, Goalkeeper) – 8/10
- Courtois is out with long-term injury
- Kepa could repeat Courtois’s performances from previous seasons, who always ended up season among top scoring goalkeepers and among goalkeepers with the most saves
- Set and forget pick for managers who do not aim to actively manage their UCL Fantasy teams
- He could get points for save points even if Real Madrid do not keep a clean sheet
- Fixtures with high clean sheet potential in MD1, MD3, MD4 and MD6
Fran Garcia (4.5m, Defender) – 3/10
- started 4/4 matches for Real Madrid this season on Nacho’s position
- However, he was subbed off for Nacho after 45 minutes in the last game which suggest that Nacho is back in contention for that position
- But Garcia could get few starts this Champions League season especially in easier matches
- However, do not be surprised if you see him on the bench, as he is a rotation risk
Carvajal (5.5m, Defender) – 6/10
- a go-to option if you are looking for a Real Madrid defender for their MD1 fixture against Union Berlin
- offers attacking threat
Bellingham (7.5m, Midfielder) – 10/10
- heavily underpriced, the most-owned midfielder in the game currently (for a reason)
- reliable UCL Fantasy asset, he seems to always deliver in the Champions League
- 5G + 1A in the last 4 La Liga matches
- We do not like to use the phrase “must-own”, but he is very very close to that
- MOTM candidate when he do well in a match
Rodrygo (9m, Forward) – 3/10
- In the last season, Rodrygo was classified as a midfielder, so he had higher points potential as this season
Joselu (7.5m, Forward) – 2/10
- Should play while Vinicius is injured
- 1G + 1A this season so far
Vinicius (11m, Real Madrid) 2/10
- The main man for Real Madrid
- higher price tag and reclassification to forward are decreasing his appeal of UCL Fantasy asset, but he surely gets points
- Let’s see if he manages to recover from a hamstring injury during the international break although it seems unlikely
