Just to remind you, Spurs and Chelsea play twice in GW35.
1. Fantasy Premier League Double Gameweek 35 Tips
Let’s start with our key notes and ideas for GW35 of FPL.
- If you have not activated your wildcard until now, GW35 is perfect opportunity – gameweek 35 wildcard allows you to prepare your squad for DGW35 and DGW37
- Even if you are on a wildcard, you do not need to go for the full 15 players of GW37 double gameweekers. Give some thoughts and considerations to keeping great single gameweek assets such as Gabriel, Saka (you will want Arsenal players in GW36), Salah, Watkins (he is the top scoring player in the game, do not overlook him)
- Similarly, you do not need 6 Spurs and Chelsea players for DGW35. If you are on a wildcard, going with 3-5 is totally fine. If you are not on a wildcard, having just 2-3 double gameweek players is fine as well.
- What I mean is, that do not compromise your selection of best players just because other players have double gameweeks
What to do with Arsenal players if you are on the GW35 wildcard?
Arsenal has just 4 games until the end of the season, while other teams have 5 or 6 (Spurs, Chelsea).
- For us, it is perfectly fine to keep Arsenal players in your team (even 3 of them, and even if you are on wildcard) despite they have no double gameweek until the end of the season
- Arsenal has the lowest xG conceded and the most clean sheets of all teams. So, even their defenders who have just 4 games could outscore Chelsea and Spurs defenders with 6 games until the end of the season.
- Just let’s look at ppm (points per match). Raya is averaging 4.3 points per match, while Petrovič 2.8 ppm and Vicario 3.1 ppm. That gives us the expected output of 17.2 points in 4 games for Raya, 16.8 points in 6 games for Petrovič, and 18.6 points in 6 games for Vicario. So the difference is small, despite Spurs and Chelsea having 50% more games until the end of the season.
