What is EURO 2024 Fantasy Football and how to play it?
EURO 2024 Fantasy Football is a game where you manage your own fantasy team and get points based on the player’s real performance in EURO 2024 tournament.
You can compete against your friends in mini-leagues and against all other fantasy managers in the overall rankings.
1. Create your own EURO 2024 fantasy team of 15 players within 100m
- You can start creating your squad at the Official EURO 2024 website
- Pick a team of 15 players
- 2 x Goalkeepers, 5 x Defenders, 5x midfielders, 3 x Forwards
- Your team must be within 100 million budget
- Maximum 3 players per team in the group stage. This number increases in the knockout stage.

2. Pick a captain whose points will double
- Pick a captain – a player that you think will score the most points during the Matchday. Captain points are doubled.
- Once the first day of matches ends, you can change your captain. For example, if you captain a player who plays on first day of the matchday and does not score many points, you can switch the armband to a player who is yet to play on another day. Of course, your previous captain’s points will not be doubled anymore
- Important: You can only switch captaincy to a player who is yet to play, and not to a player who already played
- Tip: Always pick a captain from earlier games first. Then, if he does not deliver, you can switch the captaincy to the player who plays on the next day
When the captaincy choice is clear, there is no need to be different and pick a second-best captaincy option as your captain. Second-best is the second-best (and not the best) for a reason. So always, select the best option as your captain regardless of his ownership or how many other managers will captain him.
3. Earn fantasy points when players score goals, assists or keep a clean sheet in real time
Once the matchday started, your team will start receiving points according to the euro fantasy points scoring system.
4. Sub out players who did not score points and change your captain if he blanks

5. Use transfers to change your fantasy team
- On each matchday in the Group Stage, you are awarded 2 free transfers that you can use to make changes to your team.
- Each additional transfer will cost you 4 points.
- The number of free transfers increases in the Knock Out Stage.

6. Use chips to maximize points potential
There are two chips available in EURO 2024 Fantasy which can help you increase point potential of your team:

- Each chip can be used only once in the tournament.
- Only one chip can be active during matchday.
- Once you activate the chip you cannot take it back.
7. Pay attention to price changes
Players’ prices will not stay the same the whole season but they will be changing based on players’ performance. If a player scores a lot of points, his price will rise. On the other hand, if the player underperforms, his price might fall.

8. Create mini-leagues and beat your friends
Fantasy football is more fun when you play it against your friends. Create a mini-league and invite your friends!

9. Have fun, enjoy the football
Fantasy football can be stressful when things are not going your way. EURO 2024 Fantasy will not be any different. Look at it as something that will help you enjoy the EURO tournament more, and not as something that can ruin your day when your players blank (because that will happen, fantasy football is a rollercoaster and you will experience your players not returning points as expected).
10. Plan, analyze, predict and optimize your squad (while having fun)
- Before each matchday find some time to think about your team and possible moves
- Plan for the long term, plan when you use your chips to get a strategic advantage from using them
- Follow players’ stats on sites like Understat or Official EURO stats
- Try to find undervalued players
- Optimize your team (and the money spread in your team) for the biggest expected output
- Find which players are in form by checking the last matches
