Day 2 Preview – UCL Fantasy R16 1st Leg
- Changing the captain: Unless your captain scored more or equal to 8 points, we think you should switch the captaincy. Read more: UCL Fantasy Captaincy Thresholds
- So if you are on Haaland captain, it is a no brainer to change the captaincy
- If you are on De Bruyne, Foden, Brahim Diaz captain – keep the armband on them
- Kane and Mbappe are obvious captaincy picks for the day 2
- If you have both, we think Kane is the captain to go, as Real Sociedad’s defense has been very solid this season – they kept more clean sheets (4) in the group stage than any other team. They also conceded just 1 goal in their last 4 league games.
Substitutions
- Try to avoid early substitutions – if you use all your subs now on day 2, and some of your players will score 0 or minus points, there is no one with whom you could replace them with on Day 3 or Day 4
- But of course remember, you can sub in only players who are yet to play. So if you have on your bench a player, who plays on 14th Feb, sub him in now. If you have on your bench a player, that plays on 21 Feb, sub him in on 21 Feb before the deadline.
