England is not just a candidate to win group B, but also one of the favorites to win the whole competition. With Pickford and Pope, they have a high quality in goal. We expect their backline to be very solid, as it was during EUROs, so their defenders like Stones, Trippier, TAA, Chilwell, and Walker could be a great source of clean sheet points in Fantasy Football. However, they have so many options at the back, that we will likely see a lot of rotation there during the group stage.
Their midfield is going to be very strong as well, with fantasy picks like Saka, Foden and Mount who have been scoring a lot of fantasy points in FPL in the last two seasons. And their captain Kane and Sterling in the attack, how can this not be a winning team?
England disappointed in Nations League, where they finished last in their group, but they have a very strong World Cup qualification, where they scored 39 goals – more than any other nation.
USA and Wales should fight for the second spot in group B and we favor the former. USA made solid progress in the last couple of years and we expect that Pulišič, Reyna, and talented youngster Pepi will lead their squad to the R16.
